Honda-NX200-Adventure-Bike-Upcoming-India-Featured-Image
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has shared new details about the
upcoming NX200 adventure tourer
. The new motorcycle which will debut on 19th August is based on the Honda Hornet 2.0.As seen from the video, the NX200 will get a step-up seat for more comfort as compared to the Hornet 2.0. The NX200 will also get dual-purpose tyres for off-roading.
The upcoming adventure bike certainly gets design cues from the Hornet 2.0. As seen from the earlier teaser video shared by Honda, the upcoming NX200 gets a similar headlight unit and front suspension. It could also feature ADV-style sharp beak at the front. Other noticeable parts are the knuckle guards with turn indicators, a larger windscreen, wide handlebar, engine guard, etc. The upcoming bike could also get alloy wheels and long-travel suspension.
Powering this new adventure tourer will probably be the same 184cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Hornet 2.0, but with a different state of tune. The Hornet 2.0 motor delivers 17 hp and 16.1 Nm and it is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
